“SpringFest Garden Market and Festival”
At The Tulsa Garden Center in Woodward Park

April 7th & 8th, 2017

SpringFest Garden Market and Festival is a must visit for all things gardening, and admission is free. SpringFest will be held at 2435 S. Peoria Ave. on April 7th and 8th from 9am to 5pm.  There will be a large variety of plants, gardening information, garden art, craft vendors, a kid’s zone, and food and fun for the whole family.

Local plant nurseries will offer the newest and best plant selections for sale, while the popular Linnaeus Teaching Garden plant tent will be full of plants for sale as well.  Take the opportunity to ask any gardening questions you might have of these professional nursery men and women, as well as Linnaeus Gardeners and Tulsa Master Gardeners.

Vendors outside and inside the historic Tulsa Garden Center mansion will offer exceptional craft items and fine art for the home and garden. Also inside is the bird house decorating contest/auction and food concessions.

Participating clubs include the Green Country Water Garden Society, Northeastern Oklahoma Beekeepers Association, Tulsa Garden Club, Tulsa Herb Society, Tulsa Rose Society, and Up With Trees. Plant vendors are Chaos Cactus, Colebrook Nursery, Duck Creek Farms, MB Gardens, McClains, Roses Inc. Green Country, and Utopia Gardens.

Arts and Crafts vendors will be offering metal yard art, ornaments and jewelry, remodeling supplies, gardening supplies, casual clothing, soaps and fragrances, essential oils, scarves and aprons, t-shirts, wind chimes and sun catchers, wood toys and bowls, wooden utensils, garden art, baskets, imported African art, ceramics, hand-made wooden items, handcrafted notecards, lawn and landscaping services, homeowner power tools, plant stands and pottery.

Bring the whole family and spend a fun-filled day at this spring event. The children’s area will offer multiple entertaining and educational activities, including face painting, balloons, the Adopt-A-Pet van from SPCA, the Reading Van from Tulsa City/County Library and age-appropriate gardening activities.

Proceeds from SpringFest Garden Market and Festival benefit the Tulsa Garden Center’s educational programs. For more information, please call 918-576-5155 or email MBlake@tulsagardencenter.com.
